St. John's Confirmation Program is a three-year program for 6th graders and above. We teach topics by group rather than mix everyone together. Topics are taught as follows:
- 1st Year Confirmands Martin Luther's Small Catechism
- 2nd Year Confirmands Bible - Old and New Testaments
- 3rd Year Confirmands Lutheran History & Identity, and Discipleship
Requirements for Confirmation follows:
- Attendance at all Confirmation Classes (One Saturday a month January-June)
- Attendance at Middle School Sunday School Class and participation in Sunday school projects.
- Regular attendance at Sunday Worship Services
- Attendance at the Middle School Event called "Youth Quake" in January.

- Participation in "Youth Sunday" Worship Services
- Serve as part of the lay liturgical leadership as follows
- 1st Year: Acolytes
- 2nd Year: Acolytes & Crucifers
- 3rd Year: Acolytes, Crucifers & Lectors (reading the lessons)
- Special Home assignments may be given through email and confirmation class
