New Members classes will be held on August 18, 25 and 1 September in the Fellowship Hall from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  If you are interested in learning about St. John's and about being Lutheran. Get your free copy of the Lutheran Handbook that will help you answer the following questions to make it an easier transition from whatever to being Lutheran.

• How to stay alert in church
• How to sing a hymn
• How be become a theologian of the Cross (and avoid being a Theologian of Glory)
• What to bring to Church Potluck (by region)
• How to sruvive for one-hour in an un-air-conditioned church (we'll skip this because St. John's is air-conditioned).
• How to share your faith with someone
• How to identify and avoid evil
• How to be saved (by grace through faith and not by your good works)
