Wreath Laying Ceremony at St. John’s
Saturday, December 13, 2025—12:30 pm
The Wreaths Across America service will be held at St. John’s and Parkwood, as well as many participating cemeteries around the country. Wreaths for the known Veterans’ graves at our church cemetery were purchased by the church and our Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held at 12:30pm and we encourage our members, especially the family and friends of our Veterans, to attend.
Our members may sponsor a wreath(s) to honor the service of a Veteran at a participating cemetery in Maryland or around the country. In addition, a wreath(s) may be placed in person at a non-participating cemetery (wreaths will be available for pickup at the church on 12/13). The cost of the fresh wreath is $17 and for each wreath ordered, St. John’s will receive $5.
Orders may be placed online or by mail. All orders must be received by 12/1. Order forms and sponsoring cemeteries are attached below with helpful instructions on how to place the order. We are asking for a volunteer to play taps at our 12:30pm service. Please contact Nancy Ford (443-835-7038) if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration.
